Marilyn Cloutier

MarilynMrs. Cloutier began her dance training over 85 years ago and she has a history that most dancers and performers can only dream of.  Born in Michigan and raised in Kentucky, Mrs. Cloutier joined her first professional ballet company in New York at the unbelievable age of fourteen!  Her early training was with Mme. Casson of the Anna Pavlova Company and she studied with Masters such as Balanchine, Fokine, Shawn, and Luigi.  Mrs. Cloutier was a scholarship student at the School of American Ballet and had classes with Stuart, Vladimirov, and Vilzak.

She brings to the students of TTPAA an expertise in all phases of show business including actress, dancer, choreographer, and production coordinator. Mrs. Cloutier has danced with theAmerican Ballet Theatre and has performed as an actress/dancer in many Broadway musicals, night club revues, and theatres across the US, Canada, and Central America.  A few of her credits include Kiss Me Kate, Guys and Dolls, King and I, Damn Yankees, and three U.S.O. Toursjust to name a few. As choreographer and producer, her long list of credits includes productions for the Tropicana Night Club Revue in Las Vegas, the Carillon, Eden Roc and Deauville Hotels on Miami Beach and intricate stagings of underwater ballets for Weeki Wachee Springs and Sea World in San Diego.  Mrs. Cloutier was also instrumental in bringing lavish dances and productions to the Orange Bowl Festival in Miami and assisted in the development of the inaugural ceremonies at Walt Disney World. Her students have gone on to perform at the Joffrey Ballet School, the Milwaukee Ballet, the Atlanta Ballet, the Virginia and North Carolina School of the Arts, the Colorado Ballet, the Richmond Ballet Company, the Metropolitan Opera Ballet Company, and numerous Broadway shows (again, just naming a few!).

This is Mrs. Cloutier’s seventh year with Triple Threat. As the owner of TTPAA, I am humbled to have Mrs. Cloutier teaching our students.  Please, do not miss this opportunity for your child to be taught by a true Master.
