Triple Threat offers class for students ages 3 through adult in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, musical theatre, contemporary, pointe and creative movement. Recreational classes meet once per week, and monthly tuition ranges from $45-60, based on the class. All TTPAA students will perform in our end of year recital.
Triple Tots (ages 3-4)
For our 3 and 4 year old dancers, Triple Tots is the perfect class for little ones to explore movement for the first time in a fun, safe, and well structured environment! With an emphasis on ballet, creative movement, and tumbling, this class will provide an introduction to dance, with a special focus on development of motor skills, coordination, balance, as well as learning to work as a group in a classroom environment.
Ballet & Tap (ages 5-6)
Ballet/Tap serves as an Introduction to ballet and tap in a fun and creative environment for 5 and 6 year olds. Each class will begin with stretch and strength exercises, beginning ballet technique, and creative movement. In the tap portion of the class, students will explore tempo, rythym and counting, as they learn the basics and foundations of tap dance.
Ballet (ages 7+)
We offer a variety of class levels from Beginner to Advanced so that your dancer will find the perfect fit. Our ballet classes are classically structured, and include barre, floor, and center work to increase balance, agility, strength, and flexibility while gaining a solid foundation of ballet training.
All pointe students must be approved by the instructor and have completed several years in ballet. The Pointe class will focus on the additional strength and technique necessary to dance en pointe. All pointe students must be concurrently enrolled in a ballet class.
Tap and Jazz (ages 7+)
Offered in several levels for ages 7+, our Tap and Jazz classes offer these two styles in a combined class. From beginner to advanced students, classes will include stretch and strengthing exercises, studying an array of jazz styles, special attention to leaps and turns, and building a strong foundation in tap technique.
Contemporary (ages 7+)
This class teaches students to interpret his or her movement with feeling, motion and style by combining the foundational styles of ballet, modern, and jazz. The class will also explore improvisation techniques. Classes of varying levels are offered for students age 7 and up.
Musical Theatre (ages 5+)
For ages 5+, musical theatre students will learn the magical world of theatre through singing, dancing, and acting. Classes for a wide array of ages and levels will feature acting games and improvisational techniques, vocal exercises, and movement instruction. Each year, the musical theatre classes are featured in the annual Recital, as well as auditioning, rehearsing, and performing in a musical! Hip Hop (ages 7+)
This class explores Hip-Hop movements and technique while instilling rhythm and precision into your muscle memory. Popping, locking, breaking and other styles are covered. Get ready to pop, jump, kick, break dance, and get down with this athletic-style dance that encourages improvisation and personal style. We offer a beginner class for 7-11 year olds, and a more intermediate/advanced class from ages 12+.
Tumbling & Acrobatics (ages 5+)
Triple Threat is a certified Acrobatics Arts studio. The program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Developed with input from professionals and experts in ballet, modern dance, jazz, contortion, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport acrobatics, yoga, acro yoga, pilates, physiotherapy, hand balancing and more, you will not find a more comprehensive program.
