Allie Kendo is from Dayton, Ohio. She has been dancing since she was three years old and trained at Bellbrook Dance Academy and Pontecorvo in Ohio. Allie has been dancing competitively for 13 years. She has trained in ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, modern, tap, hip-hop, musical theater, kickline, and pom. She has also taught classes including technique, private skills, kick line, and ballet.
Allie is currently a junior attending Western Carolina University as an Interior Design major with a minor in Art. Allie is also Captain of the WCU Dance Team of which she has been a member for three years. The WCU dance team competes at the NDA collegiate competition each year in Daytona, FL as well as performing sidelines, halftime and pregame performances at home basketball and football games.
Allie chose to come to Western Carolina because she has a love of nature and the beauty of the mountains and unlimited hikes and views won her over. She enjoys going outside and being active when she is not dancing and studying!
