McKenna Zullo

McKenna, a native North Carolinian, began dancing at the age of 2. She is a gifted and dynamic dancer who has received numerous awards for her exceptional performances in groups, trios and as a soloist. McKenna has received many judges’choice awards and was chosen as a scholarship recipient at Modas Dance Continuum in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She spent 16 years developing her love of dance and her talents with Asheville Dance Theater, TTPAA, Angie’s Dance Academy, and Center Stage Dance Studio before continuing her advanced training in New Mexico in 2019. While studying at Modas McKenna was a teaching intern at Magnify Dance Center, teaching jazz, ballet, and contemporary dance. Upon completion of her dance program McKenna returned to Sylva to study and pursue a profession as a physical therapy assistant which allows her to further employ her love of movement and the body. McKenna is excited for her first year teaching at Triple Threat.
