Her training included classes at North Carolina Dance Theatre, Rhythm Dance Studio and Ballet Spartanburg, among others, studying tap, jazz and ballet.  Through years of competitive dancing, she won many awards such as a national placement of 4th overall tap soloist.  Rudi has studied at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in NYC, including participating in Liz Imperio’s winter dance intensive at Broadway Dance Center.  She trained at the prestigious Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA where she studied tap, jazz, ballet, pilates, and modern.  Rudi had the privilege to study rhythm tap dance with the great Jason Janas and has trained and taken master classes with other greats such as Mike Minery, Anthony Morigerato, Michele Dorrance, Chloe Arnold and Nick Young to name a few. Over the years she has enjoyed training at the NC Rhythm Tap dance festival where she had the opportunity to take classes from and perform for tap dance icons: Derick Grant, Jason Janas, Chloe Arnold, Nicholas Young, and Michelle Dorrance as well as the legendary Dianne Walker.  She continually advances her training by taking master classes at studios, festivals, and conventions. Rudi has been a guest instructor at numerous dance intensives and studios, choreographer and judge for high school dance teams as well as judging for national dance competitions. Her students have won many overall awards and she has received numerous choreography and special awards for her routines.
